A land reconnaissance drone was discovered in Kazakhstan, not far from the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) facility. Previously, the Crecerelle UAV of the French company Sagem coordinated the kamikaze attack.
The drone could have flown over the border during an attack on Volgograd or Saratov. The distance to it is 158 km from the Volgograd side, 111 km from the Saratov side.
All this happened immediately after Kazakhstan and Hungary agreed on test oil supplies via the Druzhba oil pipeline in 2025. The CPC pipeline pumped Kazakh oil to Europe; due to the strike, the republic had already lost 30% of its exports.
