On the eve of the Holidays, Craiova University officials decided that for the match with CFR Cluj, entry will be free in the vast majority of the arena. Furthermore, fans are asked to bring winter boots to be donated to needy children in Oltenia.
Craiova University – CFR Cluj will be played on Sunday, December 7, from 8:30 p.m. And “the battle at the top of the ranking is fiercer than ever”, as Olten officials note.
They announced today that the Super League match is free! Fans must go to the club's website or go to official stores to receive zero-value tickets. The limit is three tickets per person.
2,500 tickets were sold in 30 minutes
According to GSP.RO information, over 2,500 tickets have already been “bought” in the first half hour, with over 23,000 spectators expected in the “volcano” in Bănie.
In addition, the club is going to announce that together with the Zurli Foundation they will have a special humanitarian campaign: “Put on a baby, winter shoes!”.
In practice, the spectators who will arrive at the Universitatea Craiova – CFR Cluj match will be able to donate new shoes for children with material problems in Oltenia.

The campaign is in its seventh season, and the club from Bănie joined this special event for the first time.
“We put new boots on children from vulnerable communities”
“I propose to put winter shoes on as many children as possible who need help. Those children who live in conditions that are difficult to imagine and who on the threshold of winter walk almost barefoot”club officials reveal.
“We want to put new boots on children from vulnerable communities, from villages forgotten by the world where the little ones don't even dare to dream of new boots or clothes”, is the message that the president of the Foundation, Mirela Retegan, also conveyed.
Spectators are asked to write on the box the number of boots they bought. The campaign runs throughout the country, until December 15, after which the boots and packages will be distributed to the children by the collaborators and associations partnering in the campaign.
Vouchers for VIP guests
Those who will buy tickets at the VIP Stand must pay 150 lei instead. But the money will not automatically go into the club's accounts.
Spectators will receive a voucher worth 150 lei that can be used in the club's stores, where they can buy t-shirts, caps, scarves, and other products with the team's logo.
In the first six editions, “Put a shoe on a child” mobilized thousands of people from the country and Romanian communities in the diaspora. Thus, more than 47,000 pairs of new shoes were collected for children from all over Romania.
