“If he starts a war, Russia is ready.”


Vladimir Putin also emphasized the importance of cooperation with China and India, noting that Russia has maintained close relations of a strategic partnership with these countries for years.
“I want to emphasize our goal to take cooperation with the People's Republic of China and the Republic of India to a qualitatively new level by strengthening its technological component,” Putin said.
During his speech, the Russian leader also referred to the country's economic situation. He drew attention to the record low unemployment rate, which according to him is currently 2.2%. Putin also pointed to the reduction of inflation, which is expected to reach around 6 percent in December, and the projected GDP growth at 0.5-1 percent. He assured that Russian finances are stable and that spending on defense, social obligations and development is fully secured.
The Russian president also criticized the West, accusing it of using anti-competitive methods in the global economy. According to Putin, these actions are aimed at eliminating competitors and maintaining the monopoly.
“The modern world is characterized by great turbulence, which is largely caused by anti-competitive fighting methods used by some Western countries,” said the Russian leader.
Vladimir Putin emphasized that Russia, despite external pressure, is successfully coping with difficulties, which, according to him, proves the strength and stability of the country.
