Bailiffs twice frightened a malicious debtor from Novoselovo with the arrest of a BMW

December 2 14:55

Civil servants had to twice seize the expensive car of a malicious debtor from Novoselovo. This was reported by the Office of Bailiff Service for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The man has accumulated a debt of 50 thousand rubles for transport and land taxes. From the village he moved to Krasnoyarsk, where he began working as a tire fitter, but was in no hurry to resolve the debt issue until the bailiffs got down to business. Civil servants seized the man’s BMW; in fear of losing the expensive car, the Novoselovo native paid off the debt on the spot.

The bailiffs found out that this is not the first time the man has ignored his financial obligations. Previously, his tax debt reached 300 thousand rubles. Civil servants hoped that this time the incident with the car would teach the debtor some sense, but everything turned out to be in vain. After some time, the man again began to drive himself into a hole of debt.

“The bailiff from Novoselovo again made a request to identify the debtor and his property in Krasnoyarsk, and the situation repeated itself. Bailiffs came to the garage where the debtor was engaged in tire fitting and again arrested his BMW, explaining that in case of further non-payment of the debt, the car would be sent for sale,” said the Main Directorate of the Federal Service for Social Security of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The enforcement measure again turned out to be effective – a native of Novoselovo repaid the debt in full so as not to lose his car.

The Office of the Bailiff Service for the Krasnoyarsk Territory reminds: moving to another locality does not exempt a citizen from fulfilling financial obligations. If debt accumulates again, civil servants have the right to again apply enforcement measures against the debtor and his property.
