Ukraine and Norway will jointly produce drones from 2026: “We will quickly launch a pilot production line”

Ukraine and Norway have agreed to produce drones together, starting from 2026, announced Sunday, in a post on X, the Ukrainian Minister of Defense Denîs Shmîhal, stating that he signed a document to this effect with his Norwegian counterpart Tore Sandvik, reports AFP, according to News.ro.
“The next stage consists in the rapid launch of a pilot production line in 2026, while simultaneously acting on an even stronger increase in capacity,” writes the former Ukrainian prime minister.

“Ukraine will share its experience and innovations with Norway. In return, we will benefit from a solid production base and cooperation in the field of research and development with leading Norwegian institutions,” he declared.
He welcomed “the cooperation we are developing with our partners”, “a cooperation that strengthens the defense capabilities of all countries in the free world. I thank Norway for its support”.
