Andy Diouf, 22 years old, midfielder transferred this summer from Inter, played 24 minutes today in victory with Pisa (2-0)his most minutes this season. At the end, the Frenchman spoke about his relationship with coach Cristi Chivu and about adapting to the Milan club.
In August, Inter and Lens joined hands for the transfer of Andy Diouf. The French international cost Inter 20 million euros.
Until today, Diouf had only played in 3 official matches for Inter, never more than 16 minutes. Today, in the victory with Pisa, he was thrown into the fight in the 67th minute, with the score 0-0. He almost got an assist, but Lautaro hit the crossbar with his pass in the 86th minute.

“Chivu trusts me, he talks to me a lot in training and during matches. He told me: “Your time is coming, you have to push hard”. I am happy, I want to work hard.
It was not easy for me at the beginning, I arrived at a team that practices a different style of football without having done the summer training here. But now I'm getting more and more space and I'm happy with that,” added the French midfielder.
Diouf played 37 games for Lens last season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
