On Sunday morning, road traffic is carried out alternatively, directed by the police, on DN 56A Drobeta-Turnu Severin – Maglavit, outside the place. Hinova, Mehedinți county, after, during the night, a road assembly overturned on the carriageway. Only material damage resulted, the Infotraffic Center announces. There is no danger of an explosion and the truck is carrying food, authorities explained.
At the national level, driving is mainly on a wet road, with light precipitation in the form of rain, and on roads in Olt and Vâlcea counties visibility is reduced below 200 meters, in some places even below 50 meters, due to fog.
In Caraș-Severin county, snow removal is being carried out on DN 6, DN 58, DN 58B and DN 68.
On the main roads, namely the A1 Bucharest-Pitesti, A2 Bucharest-Constanța, A3 Bucharest-Brașov, DN1 Ploiești-Brașov and DN7 Pitesti-Sibiu highways, road traffic is flowing smoothly, in the conditions of a wet roadway, with precipitation in the form of rain reported. Traffic visibility is good and there are no ongoing traffic incidents.
Traffic, blocked on DN 7 due to alluvium
At the moment, on DN 7, in the area of the Carligul Mic Viaduct, large amounts of alluvium have arrived on the roadway due to the significant amounts of precipitation blocking traffic in both directions.
SDN Vâlcea intervenes with machinery to clear the roadway and resume traffic in the shortest possible time.
Beware of restrictions
The authorities warn that on Sunday and Monday, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., traffic restrictions will be imposed for road vehicles with a maximum authorized mass of more than 7.5 tons, other than those intended exclusively for the transport of people, on DN 7 Pitesti – Râmnicu Vâlcea – Veștem.
Also, between November 21 and December 19, both during the day and during the night, maintenance work is being carried out on the Cârligu Mic viaduct, which is why traffic restrictions are imposed on DN 7, kilometer section 200 – 201, outside Călimănești, Vâlcea county.
Road traffic is carried out alternately, in one direction, directed by traffic signals and traffic lights. No traffic restrictions will be imposed between November 28 and December 1, 2025, Infotrafic representatives said.
