On Friday, the WSE did not lag behind the core markets, where we saw a mostly lazy day. When trading ended in Warsaw, the shortened session on the US stock exchange after Thanksgiving was calm with a slight increase in the main indices. The Nasdaq gained 0.46%, and the S&P500 strengthened 0.45%. The situation was similar on the stock exchanges in Paris and Frankfurt. At 5:00 p.m. CAC40 was up 0.18% and DAX was up 0.25%.

WIG20 ended the week defending the level of 3,000 points. The WSE blue chip index gained 0.31% on Friday. WIG increased by 0.32%. MWIG40 added 0.35% to the valuation. SWIG80 ended the session up 0.53%.

The turnover on the Warsaw Stock Exchange amounted to PLN 1.64 billion, of which approximately PLN 1.29 billion was related to shares of companies from the WIG20 index. The leaders in terms of turnover were KGHM (PLN 191 million), Orlen (PLN 171 million) and Dino (PLN 158 million).

On Friday, the best performers among blue chips were CCC shares, which increased by 3.80%. On Thursday, after the close of the stock exchange, the company presented its results for the third quarter, presenting net profit of PLN 118.2 million. This is a large drop compared to PLN 155.4 million of net profit in the corresponding period of 2024. However, this result turned out to be consistent with the estimate published in early November.

What had a positive impact on CCC's quotations on Friday could have been the statement of president Dariusz Miłek, who informed investors that the group he manages has been recording strong double-digit increases in LFL sales in recent days. According to him, the gross margin level in all the company's sales channels is also improving.

The shares of KGHM also shined brightly in the WIG20 index, gaining 3.07%. CD Projekt's quotations increased significantly for the second session in a row. On Friday, they added 2.85% to the valuation, and will increase by 2.59% on Thursday. Investors continue to respond to the company's good results related to high sales of its Cyberpunkt 2077 game.

Just behind the podium was Żabka, whose prices increased by 2.06%. Kruk (+1.34%), Budimex (0.94%), Allegro (+0.90%), Orange (+0.82%), Orlen (+0.76%), Kęty (+0.16%) and PGE (+0.06%) also ended the day in positive territory.

The shares of all the largest banks listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange were below the line. The Pekao price retreated by 0.47%. Alior shares lost 0.48%. Santander and PKO BP dropped by 0.58% and 0.62%, respectively, and mBank's prices lost 0.77%. As the Chancellery of the President announced on Thursday evening, Karol Nawrocki signed the act increasing the corporate income tax for banks.

LPP shares fell by 1.13% after the company announced that it would make write-offs regarding the Russian company Re Trading. Their total impact on the consolidated and standalone net result for the third quarter will amount to approximately PLN 788 million. As stated, the write-off is non-cash and will not affect the company's financial condition or its development plans. In WIG20, only Pepco shares ended Friday worse than LPP, losing 2.56%.

Among the companies from the MWIG40 index, the leading gains were the shares of Vercom (+4.96%), HUUUGE (+3%) and Lubawa (+2.29%). Lubawa presented its financial results on Thursday. The company's net profit after three quarters of 2025 reached PLN 72 million (PLN 2 million less than last year).

In the SWIG80 index, solid gains were recorded by Molecure (+9.33%) and Selena (+6.95%). The second company presented financial results that could have pleased shareholders. After three quarters, Selena generated PLN 93.6 million of net profit, which is 35% more than in the same period of 2024.

Murapol shares gained 3.88% after the successful sale of ABB. The Ares fund sold 26% of the developer's shares for PLN 412 million. The interest in the offer turned out to be so great that the shares offered at PLN 39 each found buyers within one day.
