The damage caused by the fires that raged in the Krasnodar region in the summer was estimated at five billion rubles.
The fire destroyed plants and damaged chill-out establishments. The recreation centers “Blue Wave”, “Sailor” and “Builder” are temporarily closed; another one, “Romantic”, has been closed forever. The settlements of Abrau-Durso, Bolshie Khutora, Durso and Lesnichestvo were not affected.
The amount may still increase; we will know the exact amount only in the spring, when the surviving plants begin to sprout. Experts plan to plant 50 seedlings and monitor how they take root.
