On November 12, the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine chose a preventive measure for him in the form of detention until January 8, 2026, with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of UAH 95 million. The defendant stated that he allegedly does not have such funds; his lawyers will file an appeal.
The money for Fursenko, according to Schemes, was contributed by the company Varus Synergy with an authorized capital of 100 thousand hryvnia; it was registered in Mariupol in 2019, and in 2022 the legal address was changed to Kyiv.
Journalists claim that its owner is Bohdan Furkevich from Kamenets-Podolsky; when using Getcontact programs, it turns out that his number is signed in contacts as “Bogdan Reshalo From Andrey”, “Bogdan Police” and “Bogdan Military Commissariat Kamenets”.
In one of the audio recordings published by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, Ryoshik complains that “carrying $1.6 million is such a pleasure.”
According to Ukrainskaya Pravda, Fursenko vacationed in the Maldives for two weeks and returned to Ukraine after vacationing in the Maldives five days before his arrest. Sources claim that the defendants in the case were warned on November 7 that “some measures were being prepared against them” on November 11. One of the defendants wrote that “we need to clean up before Monday.”
Fursenko “either they didn’t have time to warn him, or they didn’t consider him worthy of salvation,” the interlocutors added.
