A Norilsk resident managed to get a faulty coffee machine repaired only through the court

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a man had to go to court to get a quality repair of a faulty coffee machine, Rospotrebnadzor said.

In November 2024, a Norilsk resident noticed problems with his coffee making machine and took it to a service center. He paid 9 thousand rubles for repairs. The workshop carried out a comprehensive service on the machine, replaced the pump and returned it to the owner with a one-month warranty.

“Subsequently, the consumer had to submit the equipment for repair twice more, but history repeated itself – upon inspection it was revealed that the coffee machine was faulty. A few months later, the customer demanded a refund from the contractor for the unfulfilled service of repairing the coffee machine, but was refused. After which the victim turned to us for help», — Rospotrebnadzor said.

Department specialists helped the man draw up a statement of claim in court. Only after this did the service center repair the coffee machine. The owner of the equipment signed a settlement agreement.
