A masked gang opened fire on security forces at a polling station during the second round of the presidential election in Abkhazia.
The attackers destroyed ballot boxes, threatened voters and members of the election commission, and fled in cars. The police blocked the Musser checkpoint and demanded to stop, but the bandits started shooting.
One of the cars flew into a ditch, some of the attackers were detained, some managed to escape. The headquarters of presidential candidate Badra Gunba said that the attackers were people of the opposition politician Adgur Ardzinba. The Investigative Committee opened a case under the article “Terrorism”.
