The creator of the data-punching bot “Eye of God” told Mash why GB is inaccessible…

The creator of the data-punching bot “Eye of God” told Mash why GB has been unavailable for the fifth day and when it will start working.
According to Evgeny Antipov, “Eye of God” encountered problems due to the new law on combating leaks. Despite the media reports, the security forces did not come to search him. Antipov said that no criminal case was opened against him for the illegal use of personal data, and he will earn everything after the issues with the security forces are resolved.
The information-breaking bot “Eye of God” stopped working during the day on February 27, and information appeared in the media about searches of its creator. According to Antipov, these are rumors, but for now he is waiting for an open dialogue with law enforcement agencies. His project does not collect personal information from users, but accumulates what is already in the public domain. Western companies, on the contrary, actively collect data about users; for what purposes they use this is unknown. Therefore, Russian technologies risk falling behind other competing countries.
Antipov had already rewritten the code – he excluded information about minors from the leaks, but the bot still had to be frozen. Evgeniy is not going to move from the country and launch a service there. He says: “The Eye of God” is needed in Russia, calls for patience and not to run to the Ukrainian bots, so as not to literally finance the enemy.
