SuperLiga: Daniel Pancu needed only two matches at CFR Cluj to be appointed the coach of the stage. What the ideal team of round #17 looks like

Daniel Pancu, the technician of the CFR Cluj team, was appointed the coach of the 17th stage of the SuperLiga, after the victory over the leader Rapid Bucharest, score 3-0.

The game in Gruia was only the second for Pancu since he was appointed coach of Transylvania. He had also won the first match, 1-0 against Unirea Slobozia.

Craiova University, CFR Cluj, U Cluj and Csikszereda are represented by two players each in the ideal team of the round.

Edvinas Gertmonas (Universitatea Cluj) – The Lithuanian goalkeeper gave peace to the team with his interventions.

Lóránd Pászka (FK Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc) – Provided an assist, his third this season.

Sheriff Sinyan (CFR 1907 Cluj) – He was at his best in the duels with the opponents. With him integral, CFR ticked off the second consecutive match without conceding a goal.

Iulian Cristea (University of Cluj) – Safe in every defensive intervention. Bonus, he scored the goal that brought peace to the Cluj students' camp.

Robert Sălceanu (Petrolul Ploiești) – He scored with a spectacular shot. It was his first success in the SuperLiga.

Anderson Ceará (FK Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc) – He scored a generic goal! It was his third success in the current championship, all from outside the big box.

Tudor Băluță (Universitatea Craiova) – He played a solid game in the center of the field, being involved in both phases of the game.

Pedro Nuno (Oțelul Galati) – A player who consumes a lot of energy during the match. He scored his second goal in the Romanian championship.

Andrei Cordea (CFR 1907 Cluj) – He scored the second round in a row and reached five successes in the current edition.

Monday Etim (Universitatea Craiova) – Contributed decisively to the goal scored by Baiaram, then scored for the first time in the SuperLigă.

Sebastian Mailat (FC Botoșani) – He scored for the seventh time in the 2025-2026 edition, his success being the 40th in 193 matches played in the SuperLiga.
