Scholarship PLN 15,000 PLN for students. This is how you can get money from IKR


The Junior Individual Development Accounts (IKR) program is an opportunity for children and teenagers from low-income families to develop their passions and acquire new skills. Students will receive additional support of up to PLN 15,000. PLN, which covers three school years.

As “Rynek Zdrowia” reminds, the scholarship is used to finance additional classes, workshops and courses. The call for applications is already underway, and the program will cover at least 6,000 students throughout Poland.

IKR Junior is an initiative that aims to equalize educational opportunities for children and young people from families in a difficult financial situation. The program is financed from European Funds, which emphasizes its importance in the country's social and educational policy.

The program is aimed at students in grades 4-8 of primary and secondary schools who come from low-income families. To qualify for the program, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- receive family allowance,
- use the “Meal at school and home” program
- be in foster care (in this case, the income criterion does not apply).

The IKR Junior scholarship amounts to a maximum of PLN 15,000. PLN for three years (PLN 5,000 per year). These funds can be used for a variety of additional activities – from language courses, through art workshops, to sports activities.

As “Rynek Zdrowia” explains, students can choose between individual, group, stationary, online or hybrid classes. The program also includes the possibility of financing educational trips.
Applications can be submitted in two ways: individually – by parents, legal guardians or adult students, or institutionally – through schools and educational institutions.

To confirm the income criterion, appropriate documents must be provided, such as a certificate from the school principal, OPS or an administrative decision confirming the use of the “Meal at school and home” program or receiving family allowance.
