Romania's double champion has signed with the Kosovo club

A product of the Gheorghe Hagi Academy, the player born in Timișoara arrived in 2012 at the Constanta group, but, struck by bad luck and injuries, he was unable to confirm. In the last decade, he played on loan at Concordia Chiajna and then at FC Botoșani, and at the end of August he parted ways with Farul.

Casap, aged 26, trained at the famous Hagi academy in Romania and, throughout his career, represented well-known Romanian clubs such as FC Viitorul, Concordia, FCV Farul, FC Botoșani, accumulating considerable experience in the Romanian football elite.

He is twice champion of Romania (2016/17 and 2022/23), as well as winner of the Romanian Cup in the 2018/19 edition. At the national team level, Carlo played for the Romanian national team up to U21.

With experience, composure in the game and organizational skills in midfield, Casap is expected to be an important force in achieving our club's goals for the rest of the season,” the Kosovars announced.

• With Farul, Carlo Casap became champion of Romania twice, in the 2016-2017 season (the team was called Viitorul at the time) and in the 2022-2023 season. In addition to the two titles, Casap also has a Romanian Cup, in the 2018-2019 season;

• In the 2024-2025 season, Carlo Casap played in 21 matches for Farul in all competitions, scoring one goal.
