The store banned Ossetian men from buying women's pads in Vladikavkaz
The administration of the minimarket said that men increasingly began to purchase feminine hygiene products, probably forgetting about the “great past” of their people. For reasons of patriotism, the outlet decided to remind the townspeople that “their ancestors did not act this way.”
What angers the saleswomen most of all is that men leave the store with packs of pads without even putting them in the bag.

Can you imagine what could happen in this house if a woman, being on her feet, absolutely healthy, simply out of laziness or for some frivolous reason, can tell a man: “Go, bring me pads”? We didn’t want to offend anyone, we just wanted to remind the men that they are Ossetians.

The store administrator is aware that this ban violates consumer rights, but she and her employees are “ashamed” when men purchase these hygiene products.
