The day before, a special tactical exercise was held in the Uyarsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory to eliminate the consequences of a major road accident.

According to legend, the accident happened at 931 km of the R-255-Siberia highway: on ice, the driver of a passenger car lost control, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a passenger bus. 11 people were injured: two in the car and 9 in the minibus. Also, due to depressurization of the bus's fuel tank, fuel spilled over an area of 8 square meters. m. Traffic along the highway was partially blocked.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, police, emergency medical services, traffic police, the investigative committee, road and energy services were involved in the liquidation of the conditional emergency. In total – 11 units of equipment and 67 people.
“The exercise confirmed the readiness of the structures to work in the conditions of a complex road accident with numerous victims,” reported the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
