Former world light heavyweight boxing champion Artur Beterbiev is wanted by the Federal Tax Service for a debt of 21k rubles. Recently, an athlete from Dagestan received $20 million for a rematch with Dmitry Bivol.
Arthur is one of the most popular boxers in the world right now. Before the fight with Bivol, he had 21 meetings without defeat. Moreover, in the first fight the athlete won, in the second he lost. For the last meeting, the sheikhs paid each of them 20 million dollars (about 1,732,636,000 rubles).
Not only billionaires are interested in Beterbiev, but also Russian tax authorities: the boxer owed the treasury 21,212 rubles – apparently, he was too busy training. At the same time, according to documents, he does not have a business in the Russian Federation; he closed his only individual entrepreneur in 2024.
