DTEK is working on repairs and energy supplies to Ukraine – Timchenko

“We are working around the clock to restore infrastructure and speed up energy supplies to Ukraine. Last week we imported 100 million m³ of American liquefied natural gas into the region,” he said.

Timchenko added that Russia uses gas as a weapon and therefore it is necessary to reduce supplies of Russian gas to Europe.

The head of DTEK said that American liquefied gas could become an alternative to the Russian resource.
