Code yellow for fog and strong gusts of wind in several regions of the country

The National Meteorological Administration has issued several Code Yellow fog warnings, valid on Friday morning in the Capital and in areas of 16 counties.

Thus, in the following hours, the fog will determine reduced visibility below 200 m and isolated below 50 m in the Capital and in several localities in the counties of Ilfov, Giurgiu, Bacău, Botoşani, Suceava, Galati, Neamţ, Vrancea, Iasi, Vaslui, Brăila, Ialomiţa, Buzău, Călăraşi, Dâmboviţa and Teleorman.
On the other hand, until 11:00 a.m., in the mountain area of Brasov, Argeş, Prahova and Dâmboviţa counties, at over 1800 m, intensification of the wind with gust speeds of 90…120 km/h will be reported, according to ANM.
Warnings of immediate dangerous phenomena are issued for a maximum period of 6 hours.
Forecast for Friday
According to meteorologists, on Friday, November 21, the weather will be warm for this date in most of the country, but especially in the west, center and southeast of the territory.
The maximum temperatures will be between 7…8 degrees in the north of Moldova and around 19 degrees in Dobrogea and the southeast of Muntenia, and the minimum temperatures will generally be between 3 and 13 degrees, with the highest values on the coast. The sky will be cloudy and it will temporarily rain in Banat, Crisana, Maramureș, Transylvania, in most of Oltenia, locally in Moldova and on generally restricted areas in Muntenia.
The rains will also be in the form of showers, and isolated in the south of the country there will be electrical discharges. Especially in the hilly area of Oltenia as well as in the west of the Southern Carpathians, there will be water quantities of 20…30 l/m2 and isolated over 35 l/m2. At night, on the mountain ridges and on small spaces in the subcarpathian area of Moldova, there will be temporary mixed precipitation.
The wind will blow weak and moderate, with intensifications in the high mountain area, especially in the Southern Carpathians, where there will be gusts of 70…90 km/h, and at lower speeds, generally of 50…60 km/h, during the day in the southeast and in some places in the west. There will be fog locally in the morning and in limited areas at night in the extra-Carpathian regions.

Thermal values will be above normal in the last decade of November. The sky will be more cloudy and there will be light rain for a while.
The wind will be light to moderate. The maximum temperature will be 13…14 degrees, and the minimum 7…8 degrees. Morning and night will be foggy conditions.
