Activities will continue until further notice
The spokesman for the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, Col. Marek Pietrzak, in an interview with PAP, pointed out that the start of the operation does not mean that thousands of armed soldiers will appear at railway stations and other places near the railway from Friday. As he explained, the mission was designed in such a way as to be performed as effectively as possible and with the least involvement of soldiers. This includes: o point action – that is, assigning troops to monitor those places that are considered by the Internal Security Agency to be exceptionally sensitive, or other services to be exceptionally susceptible, or responding on an ongoing basis to reports from services about possible threats.
However, the participation of the army in the mission is crucial – pointed out Col. Pietrzak – among others. due to unique reconnaissance capabilities, such as access to advanced drones, which the army has and not other services have. (PAP)
