The first Derby della Madonnina that Cristi Chivu will contest as a coach could offer adverse weather. Sunday evening on the “Giuseppe Meazza” will be a low temperature for the date on the calendar, and what's more, there is a risk of snow two days before the start of the match Inter – AC Milan in the 12th round of Serie A.
On November 23, from 21:45 (live text on GSP.ro and live on Digi Sport 2 and Prima Sport 2), Cristi Chivu will defend its leading position in Serie A for the first time after the competitive break, the team coached by the Romanian having a two-point advantage over the rival from Milan.
Il Derby della Madonnina could be a white one, but not in terms of the result, but because of the weather forecast for Sunday night. Italians have published the forecast for the weekend in Milan and forecasters have warned of snow. Snowflakes could fall on the turf at “Giuseppe Meazza” starting at 19:00 local time!
“These atmospheric conditions are the natural consequence of what has already been observed in Milan and the related province. Temperatures have dropped suddenly, so much so that the possibility of snow is not excluded.

Chivu played the snow derby in 2013 also against Allegri
The temperature on the field will be extremely high, but maybe a little lower in the stands. And this time because it's not about any strike by Nerazzurri fans.” wrote the Italian press.
This eventuality brings to mind the derby on February 24, 2013. In that case, the snow had fallen heavily during the week, and on the morning of the game it stopped just a few hours before the kick-off.
The Inter – AC Milan duel ended in a draw (1-1), being decided by the goals scored by Stephan El Shaarawy for the Rossoneri and Ezequiel Schelotto for the Nerazzurri.
Cristi Chivu caught the last 13 minutes for the “hosts” (in place of Nagatomo) prepared by Andrea Stramaccioni, the opponents being coached (what a coincidence) by Max Allegri!
