The road from Drokino Mountain to the overpass near Solontsy was put in order

The overhaul of the first five kilometers of the Krasnoyarsk bypass has been completed, the Ministry of Transport reported. About 1 billion rubles were allocated from the regional and federal budgets to renovate the site within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.

In 2019-2020, the section from 5.5 to 8.5 km across the Kacha River, on the rise towards Aviator Street, was updated. In 2024, the reconstruction of the federal interchange at the beginning of the road, near the village of Drokino, was completed. This season, the section from Drokino Mountain to the overpass across Kotelnikov Avenue was completely repaired. Specialists strengthened the base of the road, laid three layers of asphalt concrete pavement, installed lighting and drainage, installed new bus stops, a barrier fence and equipped the area with new road signs.

In the next two years, the reconstruction of the overpass across Kotelnikov Avenue at the sixth kilometer of the Krasnoyarsk bypass will take place. Specialists have already begun preparatory work – the electrical networks are being rebuilt, the gas stations have been dismantled.

“The overpass will be expanded from 21 to 29 meters, the surface will be updated, and an underground pedestrian crossing will be built from the village of Novaland to the village of Solontsy and the Metro shopping center,” the ministry explained.

Let us remind you that the bypass of Krasnoyarsk connects the regional center with the federal highway R-255 “Siberia”, providing the shortest connection between Krasnoyarsk and the village of Emelyanovo and the international airport Krasnoyarsk. The traffic intensity is about 37 thousand cars per day and increases every year.
