You can plan your vacation in this way to gain four-day weekends. The best dates are already known [WYLICZENIA]

Pursuant to the Labor Code, employees are entitled to an additional day off if a public holiday falls on a Saturday. This means that next year, employees will be entitled to two additional days off for August 15 and December 26, which will give you the opportunity to extend your leave. This opportunity will also appear when the holiday falls around a weekend.
The first opportunity will be at the beginning of the year. Since New Year's Day is Thursday, a day off on Friday is enough to take advantage of a four-day long weekend. With the next day of leave on Monday, January 5, the weekend can be extended to six days due to Epiphany falling on Tuesday.
Next year, there will be no extended May holiday — Labor Day falls on Friday, and May 3 Constitution Day falls on Sunday, which gives only three days off instead of at least four possible days.
Traditionally, you will be able to take a longer break from work around Corpus Christi, which falls on June 4. Another possibility will appear in August – if we take a day off for the feast of the Ascension of the Blessed Virgin Mary (August 15), and there will certainly be a chance for a longer day off in November.
It is true that All Saints' Day falls on Sunday, Therefore, you will not be entitled to a day off for this holiday, but November 11 is a Wednesday, so if you take the leave, you will be able to take a five- or even nine-day rest.
This is how many public holidays there will be in 2026.
A chance for a longer rest will be to take advantage of vacation days during Christmas. The days from December 24 to 27 will then be statutory holidays. When taking leave on December 21, 22 and 23, employees can count on a week off, while with properly planned leave after Christmas, it can be eleven days, taking into account that January 1, 2027 will also be a day off from work. The end of December will also be an opportunity to take a day off for the statutory holiday on Boxing Day, which falls on Saturday.
In 2026, employees will be entitled to 14 public holidays: January 1 on Thursday (New Year's Day), January 6 on Tuesday (Epiphany Day), April 5 on Sunday (first day of Easter), April 6 on Monday (second day of Easter), May 1 on Friday (Labor Day), May 3 on Sunday (National Day of the Third of May), May 24 on Sunday (first day of Pentecost), June 4 on Thursday (Corpus Christi), August 15 on Saturday (Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary), November 1 on Sunday (All Saints' Day), November 11 on Wednesday (National Independence Day), December 24 on Thursday (Christmas Eve), December 25 on Friday (Christmas Day) and December 26 on Saturday (Second Day of Christmas).
