Recommendation from the FRF for the Romanian fans present at Zenica » What the Bosnians will try

Alexandru Cândea, director of the FRF events department, had a recommendation for the Romanian fans from Zenica, before the national team's match with Bosniafrom the WC 2026 preliminaries.
Cândea told the Romanian fans not to respond to the Bosnians' challenges. Radical extremists of the Bosnian national team have been banned from the stadium, but are expected around the arena in Zenica. BHFanaticos and Ljuti Krajišnic are the banned factions.
The FRF and the Bosnian Federation predict that the Bosnian ultras will try to provoke the Romanian fans. Approximately 750 Romanians will be at the stadium.
FRF recommendation for Romanian fans from Zenica
“It is a match with a high degree of risk. We have been preparing this match with the host federation for a month or so now. Romanian fans were escorted from the border to the stadium. The fans are escorted, we expect no incidents until they reach the stadium.
It's a more complex situation, in 2021 there were some incidents between supporters. At the moment, their ultras have announced that they will not attend the match, but the hosts expect the opposing ultras to be in the vicinity of the stadium and chant and challenge. We recommend the Romanian fans not to respond to the challenges”, declared Cândea, on Prima Sport 1.
3 hours before the match, at the arena in Zenica, there were impressive deployments of the hosts' forces. Including hundreds of soldiers who received instructions before the match. The same happened with the policemen and gendarmes, the images being impressive.
