An air bomb hit a refugee tent camp near Khan Yunis. According to foreign media reports, the death toll as a result of the IDF attack has already reached at least 200 people, including children. Previously, as a result of an Israeli airstrike, Hamas Politburo member Abu Ubaydah al-Jamasi and his family were killed.
The order for the attack was given personally by Netanyahu and the country's Defense Minister Israel Katz. Tel Aviv representatives also said that Hamas rejected all proposals received from US Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Witkoff and other peace mediators.
Hamas officials said Israel had unilaterally ended the ceasefire agreement, exposing the hostages in Gaza to an “unknown fate.”
