After Trump's victory, blacks in the United States began receiving messages urging them to “go to the plantations”
Residents of at least 25 states received SMS and emails from an unknown sender. The messages include a call to urgently report to the plantation “to pick cotton at the nearest plantation,” accompanied by “slave stewards.”
Some of the messages contained references to Trump's election campaign, but representatives of the president-elect himself have already said that they had nothing to do with it.
