Russians will be required to transfer household chats to Max by the end of the year

By the end of 2025, every apartment building in Russia must create an official chat in the Max messenger. This was stated by the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Irek Fayzullin at a meeting of the Council on Housing Construction under the Federation Council.

“Both the government and the president have set a serious task for us in the area of ​​using the Max digital messenger in the housing and communal services sector,” RIA Novosti quotes the minister as saying.

He clarified that it is necessary to transfer all existing discussions from Telegram and WhatsApp to the new messenger and officially consolidate the status of the house chat.

The innovation will affect about a million apartment buildings across the country.
