Adrian Mutu (46 years old), coach free of contract after parting with Petrolul in March, announced that he has two offers from Saudi Arabia.

Without giving the names of the teams, “Briliantul” also wants to take advantage of the fact that the domestic competition will be interrupted for a month after the next match.

That way, he will have more time to prepare the next team should he reach an agreement.

Two teams from Saudi Arabia want Adrian Mutu: “I am not separated from what football means”

For mutually it would not be the first experience in the Gulf area. He was there before in 2018-2019, when he trained Al Wahda, a team from the United Arab Emirates.

“There is one more match and the championship is interrupted for a month. Through Asia, the United Arab Emirates, it is interrupted, I don't know why exactly. There, I'm in talks with two teams and we'll see if anything comes out.

The thing is, I miss the part of coaching every day, being there with the guys, talking about schemes, being face to face with the daily problems that a coach faces, but on the other hand I don't miss it very much.

Why? I've focused a lot on the academy, I've had work, but I'm not cut off from what football means in general.

Through the academy I was able to be in training every day. When not training, I was like Gigi Becali, just kidding. I didn't miss it because I was there and saw it.

I am from Saudi Arabia (no – offer)no, I told you so! I did not have an offer from U Cluj“, said Mutu, on “Digi Sport Special”.

Mutu has been out of contract for almost 8 months. He had been appointed to the Petrolul bench at the beginning of this year, and the results were not convincing at all. With him, the team managed to win only 2 matches out of 10 in the Superliga, and 5 were failures.
