The foundation's costs amounted to PLN 53.8 million, which was an increase of over PLN 10 million compared to 2022. Of this amount, PLN 47.9 million was allocated to statutory activities, and PLN 5.8 million to administrative costs, which also increased compared to the previous year.
In 2023, the Foundation employed 39 people, including three management board members, six directors, seven proxies, ten chief specialists, six project managers and seven specialists. Management costs and remuneration
Over PLN 1.6 million was allocated for the remuneration of the PFN management board in 2023.which was basic salary, without bonuses or additional awards. Projects and their costs
The Polish National Foundation allocated the largest funds in 2023 to the PFN #PolishCulture project, which cost PLN 10.59 million. This program included, among others: a Chopin concert in Philadelphia, the promotion of Polish culture in Japan and the celebration of the May 3rd Constitution Day in Los Angeles. Subsequent projects include “I love Poland” for PLN 5.9 million, the “Reputation” program for PLN 5.65 million and support for the film “The Road Home”, which cost PLN 5.41 million.
The Foundation also carried out activities related to sports, spending PLN 4.49 million for this purpose, and the protection of Polish heritage in the Borderlands, for which PLN 3.16 million was allocated. The global media campaign “We're telling Poland”, carried out with the Institute of New Media and the Institute of National Remembrance, cost PLN 2.85 million.
