In recent months, Larisa Golubkina has been complaining of weakness and severe pain, which was almost not suppressed by painkillers. All this time she hardly got out of bed, which is why her body was covered with bedsores.
According to our information, doctors regularly came to the 85-year-old artist’s home and relieved her pain. Golubkina has been struggling with Waldenström's disease since 2014, the pathology was sluggish and slowly developed until 2022. Then it was possible to achieve remission, but last year the disease began to progress again. In July, Golubkina was hospitalized, and in August, a medical commission recognized her as terminally ill and in need of palliative care.
