In the Central district of Krasnoyarsk, entrepreneurs painted over vandal inscriptions

In Krasnoyarsk, entrepreneurs cleaned up the area near their stores, the Central District administration said.

After the intervention of officials, businessmen working in the Teatralnaya Square area began to monitor their plots more closely. This territory is under constant control, since residents and guests of the city walk here all year round.

Administration specialists pay great attention to areas near public catering facilities, as well as eliminating vandal graffiti. Recently, such inscriptions and drawings were painted over on the streets of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat and Karl Marx.

The mayor's office recalled that since December last year, the rules for landscaping in Krasnoyarsk have changed. Now owners are responsible not only for their buildings, structures and plots of land, but also for the surrounding area. It needs to be cleaned, lawns maintained, trees and shrubs looked after, and benches, trash cans and swings maintained in working order. The size of the adjacent territory for non-residential premises is 15 meters from the boundaries of the land plot or walls, for apartment buildings – 5 meters from the boundaries of the land plot.

“We have been systematically working with entrepreneurs on landscaping issues for several years. Most owners and tenants have long been involved in these processes and not only maintain order around their properties, but also decorate them for the summer and winter seasons. Those who do not heed the recommendations have to be spoken in the language of fines. For organizations, they can be up to 100 thousand rubles for the first and up to 300 thousand rubles for a repeated offense,” said Stanislav Potashkov, acting head of the Central District Administration.
