Putin is preparing to go to India. The Kremlin announces that the visit will take place in December
The Kremlin said on Monday (November 10) that it is “actively preparing” for President Vladimir Putin's visit to India before the end of the year.

According to the Kremlin, Putin is due to visit India in December. His last visit to the country was in December 2021, just months before he ordered troops to Ukraine in February 2022.
“We are currently actively preparing for Putin's visit to India,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters in Moscow, according to Reuters.
Peskov declined to give details about the agreements that could be concluded during the trip.
US President Donald Trump has repeatedly asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi that India stop buying oil from Russia.
India is one of the largest buyers of Russian oil.
