Poles divided on the alliance of PiS and Confederation. RMF FM survey


According to the survey results, 25 percent Poles considered a potential coalition of PiS and Confederation to be beneficial for the country. A much larger group – 47%. — expressed a negative opinion about such a political arrangement.
29 percent study participants had no clear opinion on this matter, which indicates great doubts and uncertainty in society.
Analysis of voter preferences
The greatest support for a possible alliance of PiS and Confederation is expressed by people associated with Law and Justice – as many as 69 percent. of them are in favor of such a solution, of which 23 percent declares strong support.
Among Confederation supporters, support is 43 percent. In turn, the voters of Karol Nawrocki and Sławomir Mentzen also show clear approval for the coalition, especially in the first round of the presidential elections.

Strong opposition to PiS's cooperation with the Confederation is expressed primarily by people over the age of sixty, respondents with higher education and residents of the largest cities.

Among voters of the Civic Coalition and the New Left, the percentage of opponents reaches 88 percent, respectively. and 94 percent, as well as among Rafał Trzaskowski's supporters.
Demography and attitudes towards coalitions
The study results indicate significant differences in the approach to a potential coalition depending on gender, age and education level.
Women are slightly more likely than men to accept the idea of a political alliance – 27%. compared to 23 percent
People aged 25-29 are most open to the coalition, with support reaching 33%. Among seniors over sixty years of age, this rate is only 22%.
People with primary and secondary education are more willing to support the coalition (27-30%) than respondents with higher education, where this percentage is 18%.

The survey was conducted on November 3-5, 2025 on a representative sample of one thousand adult Poles. The sample was selected according to gender, age, education level and region of residence. The study was carried out using computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) and online interviews (CAWI).
