Manchester United seems to have finally caught a positive trend. Five consecutive matches without failure in the Premier League, with Saturday's draw in London against Tottenham (2-2). And it seems that the explanation for this redivivus is in the locker room.
Leny Yoro: “Character is very important, also for the atmosphere in the team. We don't want bad guys in the team”
Central defender Leny Yoro (19 years old), who has meanwhile become a starter, believes that the atmosphere in the squad is the key to success: “Character is very important, also for the atmosphere in the team. Even more explicit: “Everyone should focus on the team and not create drama. Talk to everyone, build a good relationship with everyone – that's the best thing for the team. We can't build anything with bad characters, bad energy or bad atmosphere.”

Although Yoro doesn't mention any names, it's clear who he's referring to: Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony – all players United got rid of in the summer. Now Rashford is earning his keep at FC Barcelona, Sancho is struggling to regain his form at Aston Villa, Garnacho has moved to Chelsea for €46 million and Antony is under contract with Real Betis.
The French defender, on the other hand, convinced manager Ruben Amorim to give him more minutes than in the past. With ten Premier League appearances and a place earned in the center of defence, Yoro embodies the new United.
