RegioJet and “strange” messages to the president of PKP Intercity. A case in the Internal Security Agency

According to Wirtualna Polska, a long message from August 30, 2025 to the president of PKP Intercity included warnings in English “against attempts at unfair competition”. The message was signed by Radim Jančura, who he was also supposed to indicate his strong position in the European Commission and influence among journalists and politicians.
According to WP, the case was referred to the Internal Security Agency. In response to the editorial team's questions, PKP Intercity informed that the matter of messages from the Czech competitor sent to a telephone messenger was being investigated by the prosecutor's office.
The Czech carrier RegioJet assured WP that it had nothing to blame and confirmed that their owner sent informal messages to the president of PKP Intercity via WhatsApp.
