The anniversary V International Industry Mini-Football Tournament in memory of Efim Pavlovich Slavsky took place at the Moscow sports complex “New League”.

A large-scale sporting event united 15 teams of Rosatom divisions and organizations from two countries – Russia and Belarus. More than 300 athletes took part in the competition, including 15 SVO participants and members of their families.

Like last year, the teams were divided into two leagues (Super League and Major League).

The games were broadcast online. Commentaries from sports journalists helped fans follow all the key moments “live.”

At the same time, a cultural and sports program was held for SVO participants and their families: a tour of the Dynamo museum and stadium and a visit to the KHL match Dynamo (Moscow) – CSKA (Moscow).

In the Major League, the football players of the Zelenogorsk Electrochemical Plant JSC, playing under the flag of the TVEL-Sibir team, won a striking victory.

The Zelenogorsk team went through the entire tournament without defeat and in the final won a strong-willed victory 5:1 (they lost 0:1 in the first half) against the “Machine-Building Division” team. Representatives of the mining division took third place.

Denis Motin, Evgeniy Oreshnikov, Alexander Gushcha, Roman Zakablukov, Stanislav Demkin, Vladimir Mitroshenkov showed a beautiful game with the support of Gennady Korovin (PJSC NZHK), Alexey Shpakov and Ivan Alshin (JSC SGChE).

Vladimir Mitroshenkov especially distinguished himself and was recognized as the best player of the tournament.

TVEL-Siberia won the right to play in the Super League of international competitions next year.

Let us note that this year the nuclear scientists of our region from the Zheleznogorsk Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Mining and Chemical Combine”, performing under the banner of “Environmental Solutions”, also won it.

The highlight of the tournament was the Gala match, in which football legends Alexander Filimonov, Dmitry Alenichev, Egor Titov, Denis Glushakov, Kirill Nababkin and Fyodor Kudryashov took to the field together with Rosatom employees and SVO participants.

Quizzes, competitions, autograph and photo sessions, as well as interactive activities with themed prizes were organized for guests and participants.

“The tournament in memory of E.P. Slavsky has once again confirmed its status as the main industry football event of the year, where sport becomes a symbol of friendship, respect and mutual support,” noted the ECP press service.
