In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a family from Taishet was convicted for stealing dozens of trucks on the move (video)

A family contractor from Taishet, who stole goods from trucks on the move on the Irkutsk-Krasnoyarsk highway, was sentenced. The regional prosecutor's office reports this.

Let us remind you that the criminal group was uncovered in 2024. It consisted of the whole family of four – a 58-year-old father, mother and two unemployed sons, 36 and 30 years old. All men in the family had convictions for theft. The group operated for at least two years in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Irkutsk region.

For thefts, they equipped two cars whose windshields could be easily removed while in motion. Crimes were committed exclusively at night, without headlights. The father, while driving, caught up with the truck and pulled up behind it. One of the brothers removed the windshield and threw a tire tied on a rope through the window, which made it possible to press closely to the truck and put it in “neutral.”

The second son walked across the hood to the truck while it was moving, at a speed of 80-100 km/h. Next, he cut off the locks on the doors and reloaded some of the goods into the salon. Drivers of heavy trucks learned about the theft only after a while, when cut seals were discovered in the parking lot.

The men wore balaclavas, did not take mobile phones to crime scenes, used only cloth gloves and spoke only on a walkie-talkie. The acquired property was subsequently sold by the mother. She set prices, communicated with customers, received money and distributed it among family members. Theft was the main source of income for the family.

So, in April 2023, accomplices snuck into the trailer of a Scania truck and took out clothes worth 640 thousandyach rubles. Three months later, in the Nazarovsky district, they stole alcohol worth 92 thousand rubles in a similar manner. It is known that a total of five companies were affected. The total amount of damage was 1.5 million rubles.

In court, the defendants admitted guilt. During the last word, the repentant mother began to cry. The court sentenced the mother and youngest son to 4 years in a general regime colony. The eldest son received 5 years in prison general mode. My father left for military service.
