The Leninsky District Court took into custody a Krasnoyarsk man suspected of sexual abuse of his young daughter. The defendant will remain in pre-trial detention until at least December 29.
As reported in the joint press service of the courts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, if a more lenient preventive measure was applied, the accused could hide from the investigation or put pressure on the victim and witness – his daughter and wife.
The court ruling has not yet entered into legal force. The defense filed an appeal against the arrest decision. The criminal case is being investigated under paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
