A police officer shot and killed a man who called the police because of his ex, who broke into his home with a knife in Las Vegas.
Brandon Durham, 43, called 911 and reported that he was at home with his 15-year-old daughter and they heard gunfire outside. Durham then said that unknown persons entered the residence through the back door.
When the police arrived at the scene, they heard screams. The officer walked into the hallway and saw a man and woman struggling to get the knife from each other.
The policeman shot the man and killed him on the spot. Brandon himself turned out to be dead. He was fighting with a girl he was previously in a relationship with.
The girl was not injured and was charged with home invasion with a weapon, child abuse and domestic violence.
