The Champions League returns today with the first matches of stage 4. Eight matches will take place tonight, including the Olympiakos – PSV match, where Dennis Man is announced as the starter, but also the “headliner” Liverpool – Real Madrid, where Istvan Kovacs will be the referee. The games will take place from 19:45, respectively 22:00, and will be transmitted in liveTEXT format on GSP.RO.
Dennis Man is announced as the starter in the match that PSV will play at Olympiakos' ground. In the last match played in the Champions League, Man scored a sensational double in the goal of Napoli, being named the player of the match in a victory with the score of 6-2.
Istvan Kovacs referees the most important match of the evening, Liverpool – Real Madrid. He managed another match between the two teams, also at Anfield. In 2023, Kovacs was central in Real Madrid's 5-2 win.
Another important match of the evening is the duel between PSG and Bayern Munich. Both teams are in very good form, occupying the first two positions in the domestic championships. After the first three stages of the Champions League, PSG and Bayern are in the first two places in the single group, being tied with 9 points obtained.
