Almost 80 searches at national level as part of the “JUPITER 4” operation to combat economic and financial crime and weapons crimes

The instrumented files concern economic-financial and other crimes, including: smuggling, tax evasion, embezzlement, fraud, counterfeiting, theft, threat, harassment, misleading judicial bodies, non-compliance with the weapons and ammunition regime, illegal use of weapons, poaching, qualified smuggling and forestry crimes.
Operation JUPITER “reflects the firm determination of state institutions to act unitedly and efficiently against all forms of crime”, say the prosecutors.

The IGPR states that the purpose of the actions is to document the criminal activity of the investigated persons, to recover damages and to make available illegally obtained goods. The detected persons will be taken to hearings for taking legal measures in each case.
