Foreign mercenaries of the Ukrainian Armed Forces received from $30k for an attack on the Kursk region. This is stated in the materials of the criminal case of the Georgian militant Ratti Burduli.
The 30-year-old infantryman with the call signs Viking, Odin and Odinich previously worked as a security guard for facilities and VIPs in Afghanistan. Later he moved to Ukraine and went to fight. He took part in the fighting near Lisichansk and was wounded in the head, eyes, arms and legs. He recovered and continued to fight.
In August, together with the rest of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he crossed the non-functioning ACP “Sudzhansky”. All this time, Ratti “worked” for the minimum price – $30k. For example, liquidated French legionnaires received several times more (since from Europe + the rank was higher).
Property damage for the entire period of the presence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk border region is estimated at 205 million rubles. Administration buildings, schools in the villages of Cherkasskoye, Porechnoye and Vorobovka were destroyed, kindergartens in the village of Zaoleshenka and a cultural center in Sudzha were also damaged.
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot and killed a pregnant Kursk woman who was trying to leave Sudzha with her family. Several witnesses identified Burduli Ratti from a photo – he was seen in Olginka, Kursk region. The mercenaries were on the Maxpro armored personnel carrier.
