On this day, an obelisk was opened in honor of the Inskaya Battle of 1921 in the village. Smidovich.
Text of the memorial plaque: the top inscription “60 years of the GREAT OCTOBER”. Bottom inscription: “At the In station on December 28, 1921, the People's Revolutionary Army stopped units of the White Guards and interventionists.”

The monument is located in the area of 5-story buildings in the village. Smidovich. The memorial sign was transferred to the ownership of the Smidovichi urban settlement on July 20, 2006.
In 2019, as part of the project “Immortality of the names of the land of Volochaevskaya” (0+), an information plaque was placed on the back of the memorial obelisk with the text: “During the Civil War in the Far East, In station was a key stronghold and strategic point. During the Battle of Insk on December 28, 1921, 150 people’s army soldiers and more than 100 soldiers and officers of the White Rebel Army were killed.
Fight at the station Ying predetermined the successes of the People's Revolutionary Army and stabilized the Eastern Front. Here on January 31, 1922, Commander-in-Chief of the NRA V.N. Blucher held the first review parade (12+) of army units. It was from here that the victorious march of the People's Army to the east began.”
