NATO aviation in the Polish sky. The prime minister informs about “the state of the highest readiness”
“In connection with the threat of Russian drones operating over Ukraine near the border with Poland, in our space the preventive operation of aviation – Polish and allied began. Tenior air defense systems achieved the state of the highest readiness,” wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Platform X.
It is a derivative of the raid on Thursday over Poland 21 Russian drones from behind the eastern border, including from Belarus and Ukraine. As monitoring War's data showed, a few also fell in Belarus.
It is known that the neutralization of drones over Poland was mainly dealt with by Polish F-16 fighters and Dutch F-35.
According to the data provided by the police, the finding of a total of 16 drones in the towns: Czosnówka, Cześniki, Krzywowierzba-Kolonia, Mniszków, Oleśno, Wielkie Łan, Wohyń, Wyhalew, Wyryki, Zabłocie-Kolonia, Nowe Miasto nad Pilica, Bychawka Trzecia, between Radiany-Szeweryn, Czyżów, Sobótka, Smyków, was confirmed. No explosives were found with any of the drones found.
Andrey Ordasz, an embassy of the Russian Federation in Poland, was called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a protest note.
The Russian Ministry of Defense argues that he did not plan to attack Poland. He claims that the maximum range of unmanned aerial vehicles used does not exceed 700 km.
