The Gendarmerie announced that it imposed fines of 47,750 lei after the match Dinamo – CFR Cluj 2-1. The home team was sanctioned with the largest part of this amount, 37,000 lei to be exact.

The reason why Dinamo was fined is incredible. During the match, alcohol was consumed inside the stadium, a practice prohibited by law in the arenas in Romania

Work is underway to amend Law 4 of 2008 on the consumption of alcohol in stadiums, wanting to allow low-alcohol drinks at matches. Chances are the change will officially happen next year.
