Contacted on Saturday by Gazeta Sporturilor, Florentin Petre, grandfather from the summer of 2022, spoke openly about the significance of this moment.
“For me, Dinamo means life. I grew up here, I experienced the greatest joys and the hardest moments also here. Patrick was part of this story, wearing the same shirt with pride.
Patrick and his family were at the game. I was very happy, and the victory was much more emotional with them in the stands. And at the end, to see Caesar, his son and my grandson, on the pitch, smiling and living the moment, was something I can't describe in words.
Three generations linked to the same club, the same colors. This is what Dinamo means to our family. Not just football, but a legacy, a bond that never breaks”, said Florentin Petre, in dialogue with Gazeta Sporturilor.
Raised at the club's academy, Patrick Petre was registered with Dinamo's senior team between 2014 and 2018, a period in which he scored 25 matches and four goals in the red-white shirt, with which he won the League Cup in 2017.
