At night, large energy facilities were attacked in three regions of Russia. Photo, video

Videos from surveillance cameras published by the media show explosions, in particular at 1.43 local time.

The publication notes that the thermal power plant in Orel that came under attack is part of the Energo company and has a capacity of 330 MW.

Governor of the Oryol region Andrei Klychkov confirmed the attack on the thermal power plant on Telegram.

He claims that “as a result of the UAV being shot down, debris fell on the territory of the thermal power plant in the city of Oryol, which resulted in damage to power supply equipment.” The governor noted that repair work is underway.

According to Astra, one of the strikes at the thermal power plant hit an open switchgear, after which the residents of Orel lost power.

Journalists write that local residents wrote in chats that the largest generating source of electricity and heat in the region was attacked “not by drones.”

In addition, the Vladimirskaya electrical substation in the Vladimir region of the Russian Federation was under attack, Astra reports.

Photos and videos from the scene show a large fire.

The governor of the region, Alexander Avdeev, said that “the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked infrastructure near Vladimir,” the public writes. Allegedly, “all systems are functioning as normal,” but for some reason “specialists are working on site.”

OSINT analysis of Astra confirmed that the strike fell on the Vladimirskaya electrical substation, which is a hub.

The publication also reports an attack in the Yaroslavl region by the aggressor country near the Slavneft oil refinery.

Before the explosions, sounds were heard that resembled the passage of a drone.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that nine drones were allegedly shot down over the Oryol region at night, and six over the Yaroslavl region. The Russian military does not mention the work of air defense in the Vladimir region.
