Komorowski revealed the truth about his wife's pension problem. Duda helped them


One of the topics of Bogdan Rymanowski's conversation with Bronisław Komorowski on Radio ZET was the possibility of granting a monthly salary to Polish first ladies. According to the former president, the wives of heads of state should receive a salary that could be “two or three of the national average.”
— And it was a great success, thanks to President Duda, that my wife's ZUS contributions were calculated. She was close to losing the right to a pension because she had not worked for five years in accordance with Polish regulations, Komorowski said.

— My wife was very active and earned zero. And she also lost the right to a pension because no contributions were paid for five years, added the former president. As he explained, granting a salary to the first lady would be aimed at “not leaving her in the lurch after the end of her mission.”

Komorowski about Duda's new work. “A bit risky”
Komorowski also referred to the issue of Andrzej Duda's new job. The former PiS politician became a member of the supervisory board of the fintech ZEN.com. — It's a bit risky from the point of view of prestige, including the prestige of the Polish state. But the Polish state does not pamper former presidents, so we all have to work somewhere and earn extra money, said the former president.

He also added that he also earns extra money, but not in business. — I go abroad to some events, the same in Poland, where they hire me to add splendor to an event or to enjoy contact with people. It is worth remembering that former presidents have much smaller pensions than generals, judges and prosecutors, Komorowski concluded.
